This is what brave looks like

I was privileged to be invited to photograph the "This is what brave looks like" day out at Southbank. This organisation helps raise funds for kids with cancer and other shocking diseases so that they can have some of the little luxuries that we all take for granted.  Simple things like a board game to play with mum and dad while they're having their chemotherapy treatment or a video game to help pass the longs days in hospital.

 

It still brings a tear to my eyes thinking about these amazing kids now and I consider myself so lucky for getting to meet some of them and capture this precious day.
